Algiers, June 23, 2026 – As part of the Flag Day commemorations, the Argentine Embassy in Algeria was the setting for a deeply moving ceremony, in which four Argentine girls living in the country made their Pledge of Loyalty to the National Flag.

With firm voices and hearts full of pride, the girls pledged their loyalty to the blue and white, reaffirming their bond with their homeland despite the distance. Ambassador Atilio Berardi and Consul Fernando Grillé presented each of them with an official certificate and an Argentine T‑shirt as symbols of this unforgettable moment and their commitment to the Nation.

The event was a celebration of Argentine identity that transcends borders, showing that love for the homeland is lived and felt in every corner of the world. The ceremony renewed hope in the new generations and reaffirmed the importance of keeping national traditions and values alive among Argentines living abroad.

As is customary at diplomatic missions around the world, during this commemoration the children watched an institutional video from Chancellor Pablo Quirno and received a virtual greeting from the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello.
