Buenos Aires, September 16, 2025 – The Argentine Embassy in Algeria participated in the virtual seminar "Bridges with the World," a strategic initiative coordinated jointly with the Argentine Foreign Ministry, ICBC Argentina, and the ICBC Foundation. The event brought together a broad representation of automotive industry executives and auto parts manufacturers from various regions across Argentina.
During the seminar, Ambassador Atilio Berardi presented a detailed analysis of the opportunities within Algeria's auto parts market. His presentation covered the sector's structural characteristics, recent investments by international automotive companies in the country, and the comprehensive plan the Embassy is implementing to promote Argentine commercial presence, with a particular focus on industrial manufactured goods. This strategy includes participation in key industry trade fairs and establishing direct contacts with leading automotive manufacturers operating in Algeria.
As a success story, Mr. Gustavo Lis, Commercial Manager of the company Lomaplast, shared his company's experience in the Algerian market. With an established track record in the sector, Lomaplast has positioned itself as a leading supplier of Argentine auto parts for the aftermarket, offering valuable insights into local commercial dynamics.
The "Bridges with the World" program is thus established as a commercial diplomacy initiative that connects Argentine companies with international business opportunities. The strong turnout for this seminar reflects the growing interest of the Argentine auto parts sector in developing new commercial opportunities in Algeria and the North African region.
