Algiers, April 22, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, actively participated in the ICT Africa Summit 2025 International Exhibition, one of the most important technology and innovation events on the African continent. The meeting, organized in collaboration with the Algerian government, brought together more than 5,000 participants, including ministers, CEOs, and technology experts from across the region.
The summit has established itself as a key space for Africa's digital future, where the latest trends and business opportunities in the technology sector were presented. Argentina's presence at this international forum reflects the country's commitment to strengthening its position in global innovation markets.
 

Opportunities for Argentine Companies
During the event, strategic areas with high demand for technological solutions where Argentina has competitive capabilities were identified:
- AgTech: There is a growing need for innovative solutions for smart agriculture and food security, sectors in which Argentina has a distinguished track record and expertise.
- Electronic Government (E-Gov): African countries are driving state modernization processes through digital platforms, a field where Argentina has developed internationally recognized expertise.
 

Embassy Action Plan
The Argentine Embassy in Algeria is already developing a strategic plan to facilitate connections between Argentine companies and African partners. This initiative seeks to capitalize on the opportunities identified during the fair and position Argentine technology as a reliable ally for the region's digital development.
