Algiers, January 8, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, accompanied by the Head of the Economic and Commercial Section, received Dr. Amine Bensemanne, President of Sipsa Filaha and the Filaha Innov Incubator, along with the General Coordinator of the Exhibition, Ms. Katia Yata, at the Embassy.
During the meeting, a joint work plan was established between the Argentine Embassy and the Algerian organization to strengthen ties in the agricultural sector of both countries. The dialogue resulted in the development of an agenda of specific activities to promote bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector.
Planned Activities for 2026
The work agenda includes three main lines of action:
- Dissemination of business opportunities between Argentine and Algerian companies in the agribusiness sector
- Participation of Algerian trade delegations in Argentine trade fairs
- Organization of an Argentine trade mission to the next edition of SIPSA-FILAHA, scheduled for May 2026
About SIPSA-FILAHA
SIPSA-FILAHA is the largest trade fair dedicated to livestock and agricultural equipment in Africa. The event -which will take place from May 18 to 21, 2026, at the SAFEX Exhibition Center- will showcase a full range of products and services to meet the needs of all agribusiness sectors, highlighting the latest technological innovations.
The fair will include a series of forums and conferences organized by the FILAHA Innove Foundation, the Algerian Senior Experts Organization, making it an ideal platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among professionals in the sector.
This initiative reinforces the Argentine Embassy's commitment to building trade bridges and promoting the exchange of knowledge and technology in the agribusiness sector between Argentina and Algeria.
