Algiers, July 8, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, held a working meeting with the Rector of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, and the deans of the Faculties of Communication, Political Science, International Relations, Physical Education, and Economics. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the prestigious Algerian university.
The main objective of the meeting was to deepen scientific and academic cooperation between higher education institutions in both countries. As part of this initiative, the discussions already underway with the National University of Córdoba (UNC), one of the oldest and most important universities in Argentina, for the development of student and faculty exchange programs were highlighted.
During the meeting, a draft Memorandum of Understanding was presented, establishing the framework for promoting the mobility of professors, researchers, and students between Argentina and Algeria. This cooperation instrument will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, joint research, and the development of shared academic programs.
The University of Algiers 3, specializing in humanities and social sciences, represents a strategic partner for Argentine universities, particularly in areas such as international relations, political science, and communication.
This bilateral academic cooperation is part of Argentina's efforts to strengthen educational and scientific ties with prestigious Algerian institutions.
