Algiers, April 28, 2026 – The Argentine Embassy in Algeria took part as a speaker in the virtual seminar "Pymes al Mundo" (SMEs to the World), organized jointly by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC). The event brought together more than 200 Argentine business owners interested in learning about the business opportunities Algeria has to offer.
During the seminar, Ambassador Atilio Berardi outlined the main opportunities in the Algerian market, covering key topics such as Algeria's economic situation and foreign trade, bilateral trade ties with Argentina, and the sectors with the highest potential for Argentine exports.
Among the areas with the greatest opportunities were auto parts, the dairy industry, the pharmaceutical sector, agricultural investments, government procurement, participation in key trade fairs, and direct connections with local companies.
This seminar strengthens Argentina's commitment to trade promotion and business diplomacy in North Africa, giving small and medium‑sized enterprises practical tools for going global. The event is part of the ongoing efforts by the Foreign Ministry and the network of Argentine embassies to facilitate access to new strategic markets.
