Algiers, November 5, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, along with the Commercial Section team, paid a working visit to the facilities of Groupe Siad, a long-standing leader in the Algerian auto parts market with over 50 years of experience in the sector.

During the meeting with CEO Mohammed Siad and his management team, concrete opportunities for cooperation for Argentine companies were identified in various segments of the automotive industry. The areas with the greatest potential include transmission systems, clutches, water pumps, and next-generation batteries.

Strategic Interests and Business Opportunities
The Algerian industrial group expressed particular interest in developing projects with local value-added components, establishing strategic alliances with Argentine industrial partners, and strengthening the aftermarket with Argentine-made parts. This collaboration represents a significant opportunity for Argentine automotive parts companies to expand their presence in North Africa with high-tech, high-quality products.

It was emphasized that the complementarity between Argentine industrial capabilities and Groupe Siad's position in the Algerian market creates ideal conditions for developing mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to establish a joint working group to facilitate contact between Groupe Siad and Argentine companies in the sector, with the aim of realizing the identified opportunities in the short and medium term.
