Ambassador Atilio Berardi strengthens trade ties with the Médéa Chamber of Commerce

Medéa, March 6, 2025 – As part of the work agenda to boost bilateral economic relations, the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, held a high-level meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the province of Médéa.


The meeting, held at the institution's headquarters, served as a fruitful forum for dialogue to analyze in depth the broad prospects for trade and investment cooperation between Argentina and Algeria. The dialogue focused on identifying concrete opportunities and synergies that benefit the productive sectors of both nations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Berardi exchanged views with a prominent group of business leaders and representatives from various key sectors of the local economy, demonstrating the dynamism and diversification of Algeria's commercial potential. Among the sectors represented were:

Meat Proteins: With special interest in the beef sector.

Fishing and Aquaculture Sector: Covering both extractive fishing and aquaculture.

Automotive Industry: Represented by automotive parts manufacturers.

Metallurgy: With the copper industry present.
