Cheraga, January 21, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, accompanied by the Head of the Economic and Commercial Section, held a working meeting with the President of the Council for Economic Renewal of Algeria (CREA), Mr. Kamal Moula, and his executive team. The meeting also included the participation of prominent Algerian business leaders, including Mr. Reda Hachelaf, President and CEO of Sopi Mama, a leading company in the Algerian market for flour, pasta, and couscous.
CREA is Algeria's leading employers' association, bringing together public and private companies and startups with the central objective of boosting the country's economic growth and industrial development.
This meeting represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral economic ties.

During the meeting, the parties discussed coordinating trade promotion activities for 2026, with a particular focus on participation in key international trade fairs to be held in Algeria and Argentina. They also explored mechanisms to facilitate a fluid and structured exchange between CREA and Argentine business organizations, with the aim of identifying and realizing concrete business and investment opportunities.
