Algiers, September 9, 2025 – The commercial team of the Argentine Embassy in Algeria, led by Ambassador Atilio Berardi, participated in the 4th edition of the Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF2025), the main economic event on the African continent.

At this important meeting, contacts were established with African leaders and business opportunities were explored in a market of more than 1.4 billion people.

During the fair, three priority areas for Argentine exports were identified:

Agricultural Technology

Argentine technological solutions and agricultural machinery, already present in several African countries.

Processed Foods

Opportunities for Argentine agro-industrial products in the growing African market.

Healthcare Solutions

Growing demand for Argentine pharmaceutical products and medical equipment.

Algeria consolidates its position as a strategic gateway to the African continent. The event demonstrated that the complementarity between our economies offers concrete opportunities for Argentine companies in high-tech sectors.

Participation in this fair reflects Argentina's commitment to strengthening South-South economic relations and diversifying markets for value-added exports.
