Algiers, June 5, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Algeria, Atilio Berardi, together with the Commercial Section team, visited Algeroliva 2026, the main olive sector fair in Algeria, held from June 2 to 5 at the Safex Exhibition Center under the slogan "Nothing is wasted in the olive tree; everything is recovered and transformed."

The event is a key gathering for producers, processors, machinery manufacturers, packers, and buyers in the sector, all coming together to explore the latest trends, technologies, and business opportunities along the olive value chain.

During the visit, the Argentine delegation shared information about Argentina's main olive sector fairs with Algerian business owners and producers, with special emphasis on ArgOliva 2026, which will take place from August 30 to September 6 in the province of San Juan, Argentina's leading producer and exporter of olive oils.

This meeting helped strengthen bilateral trade ties and open new opportunities for the olive industry in both nations, promoting the exchange of knowledge, technology, and experience in a sector of growing importance for both Argentina and Algeria.
